Wow…the key demo numbers (adults 25-54) are out for July and — according to our research department — for the first time in at least 18 years, a TV station other than WWL (CBS) won newscasts within a ratings period. That’s kind of a big deal.
WDSU News at 4, 5 & 6 finished number one in their respective time periods, with double-digit growth in audience share year-to-year. Competing newscasts saw double-dip drops in audience share.
