The final ratings released Wednesday, according to the Times-Picayune, show the Saints/Patriots game fell just short of the record set during the October 5th MNF broadcast between the Vikings and Packers. That game drew 21.8 million viewers. Monday’s game in the Superdome attracted 21.4 million viewers.
However, the Saints/Patriots game was the most-watched prime-time program nationally, broadcast or cable, during the past two weeks.
