Phase Two: Loading

I’m operating on a combined nine hours sleep since Monday, so you can imagine how excited I was to hear the movers were going to be about six hours late yesterday. Turns out it was only five – the 8:30 a.m. arrival became 1:30 p.m.

When the crew finally got started, the first thing they did was break off a door stopper and knock the door knob into the wall. Great start.

Everything else was relatively uneventful until near the end of the day when a wasp nest was discovered under my son’s picnic table. After a few comedic moments, they were eliminated.

Now, things settle down a bit. My wife and son leave for New Orleans today while I wrap things up here through Saturday morning.

I start at WDSU on Monday.
