Wild Week

What a way to start off 2010.

Let’s see, just this week the weather has been frigid, Jefferson Parish CAO Tim Whitmer resigned under fire, Jefferson Parish President Aaron Broussard named Public Works Director Jose Gonzalez as Whitmer’s replacement and today we learned Broussard will step down from his position.

Also, there were two more mayoral debates, candidate Troy Henry called a news conference to discuss “the future of his candidacy” and attacked the media instead and the city finally got to hear from mayoral candidate Norbert Rome.

Oh, and let’s not forget the shift to a 4-day work week for city workers because of budget constraints.

Whew.
