Saints Will Host Cardinals

Kurt Warner threw for 379 yards and 5 touchdowns against the Packers.

I was about to turn the game off when the Cardinals were up 31-10. Good thing I didn’t. I would have missed the highest-scoring game in NFL postseason history.

Thanks to a thrilling 51-45 overtime victory over the Green Bay Packers, Arizona is bringing quarterback Kurt Warner and his high-octane offense to the Superdome next Saturday. I wrote earlier that I didn’t think the Cardinals would win, but I was hopeful. I still think Arizona is the better matchup for the Saints even though it’ll be tough for the Saints D to contain that offense. Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams has his work cut out for him these next few days.

There could be plenty of fireworks in the Dome on Saturday!
