Henry Glover Trial

After nine hours of closing arguments, the Henry Glover civil rights trial is now in the hands of the jury. Prosecutors contend 31-year-old Glover was shot in the back by former NOPD officer David Warren on Sept. 2, 2005 outside a police substation in an Algiers strip mall. Another offficer, Greg McRae, admitted earlier in the trial to burning a car with Glover’s body inside.

WDSU has a plan in place and people set up everywhere around the courthouse — inside and outside — to get the verdict on the air as soon as it’s announced.
