Hope for the Holidays Gala: A Dinner with Saints Players

UnitedWay_logo_colorThe 2nd annual Hope for the Holidays Gala is Friday night at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown New Orleans and several Saints players will be honored. It’s your chance to have dinner with the likes of Roman Harper, Lance Moore, Pierre Thomas, Darren Sproles, Mark Ingram, Jahri Evans, Malcolm Jenkins, Jermon Bushrod, Courtney Roby, and former Saint Darren Sharper.

The Gala raises funds for families still displaced by Hurricanes Katrina and Issac.

According to a news release, each player funded the rebuilding of a families home, which United Way of Southeast Louisiana rebuilds through their rebuild partners: St Bernard Project, Rebuilding Together, LowerNine Org, and Epworth Project. The Hope for the Holidays campaign has already been responsible for rebuilding the homes for 14 families. The Gala, which honors all ten of the Saints players listed, is an opportunity to raise even more funds to support additional families.

The Gala is presented by Cox Oil and put on by the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, IrvingMorris, Harpers Hope 4*1 Foundation and the United Way of Southeast Louisiana.
