Best of Orlando: Media Favorites

Orlando Magazine is out with its “Best Of” list again this year and WESH 2 had a nice showing. The station received top honors for Best TV News Team and Pat Clarke won Best TV Sportscaster. Click here for the other “Best Of” Categories.

Back in Orlando

Back to work tomorrow after the action-packed New Orleans weekend. This week I’m filling in at 4, 5, 6 and 11, then it’s back to WESH 2 News Sunrise for my final week in Orlando. Tonight we finally finalized plans to rent a house in the New Orleans area. Huge relief.

Intern Review

Intern Christy leaves WESH 2 News Sunrise tomorrow. This morning, Syan and I gave her the much-anticipated Anchor Intern Review. She played along like an intern should. And she can’t wait to get away from us. Good luck, Christy.

Breaking News: WESH Tops WFTV at 6 a.m.

For the first time since February 2005, WESH 2 News Sunrise finished #1 from 6-7 a.m. in the key Adults 25-54 demographic. WFTV finished second, followed by WKMG and WOFL. Kudos to our talented Sunrise reporters, producers and crew for a job well done!
